Hey fellow teachers, I’m so excited to share with you my recent collaboration with Office Depot® OfficeMax®! As a teacher, I know how important it is to have an organized and productive classroom, and I found some amazing products at Office Depot® OfficeMax® that have helped boost my classroom organization and productivity!
In this Instagram reel, I share my tips for organizing my classroom and highlight some of the products I picked up at Office Depot® OfficeMax® that have made a huge difference. You can watch that reel here.
The Benefits of Organizing Your Classroom into Teams
First off, I love organizing my classroom into teams of students. This encourages teamwork, responsibility, and organizational skills. To keep things tidy and manageable, I assign each team captain the task of organizing and distributing community supplies. This not only fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility, but it also makes it easy for students to access the supplies they need when they need them.
To help my students stay organized, I assign them each a number that corresponds to their storage bin. These bins are simple and easy to use, making it easy for my first graders to store and organize their own work independently.
Products That Can Transform Your Classroom Organization
If you’re looking for some organization solutions for your classroom, check out these Office Depot® OfficeMax® products that I found:
- Realspace Stackable Storage Bins: These are the same bins I use in my classroom! They’re perfect for storing anything from student work to monthly read alouds. They are stackable for easy storage. Plus, they have convenient handles for easy carrying.
- Office Depot Brand Storage Boxes: If you need a little more storage space, these boxes are perfect. They’re also stackable and have convenient handles for easy carrying.
Office Depot OfficeMax’s buy online and pickup in store in 20 minutes has been a lifesaver for me as a busy teacher. Thank you, Office Depot OfficeMax, for offering this!
Finally, you can find all of my Team organization in my TPT store:
- Number Labels: To keep things organized, assign each table a number and label their space and storage accordingly. These number labels are color coded and easy to read, making it easy for my first graders to keep track of whose bin is whose.
